Ultraman

Growing up in the early 70's Ultraman was my hero. I just loved the show. I was so terrified of the guy that when my dad was around I would scurry into his lap when that big silver man came on. But I wouldn't let him turn it off, no sir'ee Bob!

Due to the magic making of Youtube I can now watch episodes again. And although my reasons for liking it have evolved I still love it!

King Kong

I saw a premiere for King Kong a couple of weeks ago. It was in a packed room for some Special Effects Guild or something. I never got it into my head who was responsible for the preview. BUt I was so impressed with the film. The dinosaur stampeded in itself was amazing. But the best part of the film by far was the relationship between the girl and the ape. It was so real I completely believed they had fallen in love. The actress who pulled this off was so good at what she does. Color me impressed.
